What the Rent Registry Currently Offers Landlords and Tenants
The online Rent Registry maintains key information on rental units including unit type, unit status under the Rent Ordinance, rent amounts, and tenancy information.
The Rent Registry offers landlords an online way stay compliant with the Rent Stabilization and Eviction for Good Cause Ordinance by registering their properties, paying registration fees, and updating unit and tenancy information, while offering tenants a way to look up unit information.
By collecting accurate information, the Rent Registry, helps prevent illegal rent increases and provides accurate data to inform housing policy.
