Registration Fees for Fiscal Year (FY) 2024-25

The Rent Registry portal will open for the FY 2024-25 registration cycle on April 29, and registration fees are due Monday, July 1!

New affordable housing preferences can help you return to or stay in Berkeley

Priority for affordable housing lotteries will be given to households displaced from Berkeley due to BART construction, foreclosure, or eviction; as well as those who have connections to redlined neighborhoods, are homeless or at risk of homelessness, or have a child 17 years old or younger.

2024 Adjustments of Relocation Assistance Payments

Berkeley’s Eviction Moratorium Expired on August 31, 2023

Starting September 1, 2023, all evictions allowed under state law and the Good Cause provisions of the Berkeley Rent Stabilization Ordinance may proceed.
