New Address, Same Office Hours
Our new office is located at 2000 Center Street, Suite 400, Berkeley, CA 94704, which is on the corner of Milvia and Center Streets, just around the corner from our prior location and still one block from the Downtown Berkeley BART station. After you enter the building at 2000 Center Street, take the elevator or stairs to the fourth floor. The public entrance will be to your left (the double set of glass doors). Use the intercom to be buzzed in.
Our office hours remain the same: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., closed to the public on Wednesdays.

Our new fax number is (510) 809-3921. If you communicate with the Rent Board by fax, please update your records as our old fax number will no longer work.

The Rent Board office is moving, but we’re not going far! Our new office will be at 2000 Center Street, Suite 400, Berkeley, CA 94704, which is just around the corner from our current location.
We will be closed to the public on Wednesday, April 10 and Friday, April 12, and open for remote services only between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 11 while the move is in progress.
We anticipate that our new office will be open to the public on Monday, April 15.
