LIRA Committee (Legislation, Individual Rent Adjustment (IRA) / Annual General Adjustment (AGA) & Registration)
This Committee handles all issues that relate to the Rent Board’s regulations and the Hearings Unit. The Committee reviews and approves the Annual General Adjustment. Changes to regulations may be initiated at the Committee, and the Rent Board refers any issues that arise related to legislation, regulations, hearings or the appeals process to this Committee. The Committee also reviews issues related to waivers or other registration topics.
