Rent Board Amends Regulations Impacting Tenant Associations

Tenant Associations can now bring Individual Rent Adjustment Petitions for property-wide defects on behalf of all tenants. Tenant employees and owner occupied units no longer count towards the required threshold to establish a Tenant Association.

Rent Board Adopts Amnesty Period for Units Newly Required to Register Under Measure BB

Owners of such units who pay their accounts in full by January 2, 2026, are eligible for a full waiver of all registration fee penalties.
